Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Title page : The title page should contain a clear, concise and informative title of the article followed by the names and affiliations of the authors. The affiliation should comprise the department, institution (usually university or company), city, and state (or nation) and should be typed as a footnote to the author's name. The Corresponding Author must indicate his or her complete mailing address, office/cellular phone number, fax number, and email address at the lower left of the Title Page. 

Abstract : Should start on a new page after the title page and Abstracts should briefly reflect all aspects of the study, as most databases list mainly abstracts. Short Communications as well as Review Articles should also have an Abstract. Abstract must be followed by four-six keywords. 

Introduction : This should be brief and indicates aim of the study and the essential back ground information. Introduction should clearly state the hypothesis or purpose statement, how and why the purpose or hypothesis was developed and why the author deems it important. 

Material & Methods : Please provide concise but complete information about the material and the analytical, statistical and experimental procedures used. This part should be as clear as possible to enable other scientists to repeat the research presented. The use of subheadings to divide the text is encouraged. Primary headings should be in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS. Secondary or subheadings should be in Bold sentence case. Third level subheadings should be in Italicized sentence Case. In case of animal experiments authors must give the details of ethical approval. 

Result & Discussion : Data acquired from the research with appropriate statistical analysis described in the methods section should be included in this section. In this part, the same data/ information given in a table must not be repeated in a figure, or vice versa. Tables and Figures should be self explanatory and it is not acceptable to repeat extensively the numerals from tables into text and give lengthy and unnecessary explanations of the Tables and Figures. Discussion should relate the results to current understanding of the scientific problems being investigated in the field. 

Conclusion : This should clearly explain the main conclusions of the work highlighting its importance and relevance. 

References : Should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text (not in alphabetic order).

Acknowledgement : All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the very end of the paper before the references and may include supporting grants, presentations, and so forth. 

Tables & Figures : Tables and figures should not be embedded in the text, but should be included at the end of the manuscript on separate pages. Tables should be created with a word processor and cited consecutively in the text. To ensure the highest print quality, your figures must be submitted in TIF format with minimum 300 dpi or higher resolutions. Captions/legends will be placed below figures and adjusted to 10 font size. 

Abbreviations : Standard abbreviations should be used throughout the manuscript. All nonstandard abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and must be defined in the text following their first use. 

We allow readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of its articles. 

Publication / Processing Fee : Due to high publishing cost and other financial constraints in the year 2020, Articles clearing in peer review process or upon acceptance, Authors are required to pay [per article] INR 1500/- [for authors from India] towards article processing charges. 

Manuscript Preparation

  • Title : 14 pt Times New Roman, bold, centered, sentence case. 
  • Name of Author & Affiliation : 12 pt Times New Roman centered, bold - giving each author's name and Affiliation separately with one line spacing. The corresponding author should include an asterisk at the lower left of the Title page. 
  • Abstract : 12 pt Times New Roman - maximum 200 words. 
  • Body : 12 pt Times New Roman, full justification - double spaced ( Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References in upper case left-justified, 12 pt bold, sub-headings should be in bold, sentence case, left-justified, 12 pt, third headings italic sentence case). 
  • Tables/Figures : All the tables and figures should be on separate pages and indexed as Table No. 1, Figure 1 
  • Legends/Captions : 10 font size immediately below the tables and figures.
